# Busy Light

2025

[Project site](https://github.com/oliviasculley/busy-light)

I can't tell you how long this has been on my bucket list, but I'm happy to say that I've finally created and ordered my first ever PCB to create a synced busy light for remote work!

It was really fun to figure out Kicad and learn how to create clean schematics. Thank you to everyone in the [Synergy Mill](https://www.synergymill.com/) electronics channel that was kind enough to share your experience and knowledge with me! (Especially [Tim Taylor](https://www.linkedin.com/in/tim42e/) & [Bill Seely](https://www.linkedin.com/in/williamseely/))

There are still some changes to the board that I'd like to make in a future revision, but it's been really awesome to actually be able to use my first PCB to solve a real issue that I was facing! Also, if I had known how cheap it was to get boards from JLCPCB, maybe I would've made a board a lot sooner... I'll definitely be looking for excuses to make more boards in the future! 😄
